The word which makes individual analysis of each word in the sentence is called Parts of speech .

वह शब्द जो वाक्य के प्रत्येक शब्द का अलग-अलग विश्लेषण करता है Parts of speech या शब्द भेद कहलाता है |

👉 Kinds of parts of speech. 

There are eight types of parts of speech.

1. Noun - संज्ञा

2. Pronoun - सर्वनाम

3. Verb - क्रिया

4. Adjective - विशेषण 

5. Adverb - क्रिया-विशेषण

6. Preposition - संबंधबोधक अव्यय

7. Conjunction - समुच्चयबोधक अव्यय

8. Interjection - विस्मयादिबोधक अव्यय

1. Noun - संज्ञा

A noun is a word which is used as the name of a person, place or thing.

संज्ञा किसी वस्तु, व्यक्ति या स्थान के नाम को कहते हैं |

✓ As. Delhi, Ram, Table, Book etc.

2. Pronoun - सर्वनाम

A pronoun is a word used instead of noun.

जो शब्द संज्ञा के स्थान पर प्रयुक्त हो, उसे सर्वनाम कहते हैं |

✓ As. He, She, It, They etc.

3. Verb - क्रिया 

Words which show that an action is taking place is called a verb.

जो शब्द किसी कार्य के होने का बोध कराये उसे क्रिया कहते हैं |

✓ As. Play, sing, Run, Laugh etc.

4. Adjective - विशेषण

An adjective is the word that tells something about a noun or pronoun.

विशेषण वह शब्द है जो संज्ञा या सर्वनाम के विषय में कुछ बताता है |

✓ As. Good, Big, Sweet, Fat etc.

5. Adverb - क्रिया-विशेषण

The words that shows the quality of a verb are known as adverb.

✓ As. Slowly, Sweetly, Loudly etc.

6. Preposition - संबंधबोधक अव्यय

The words which shows relation between two nouns or pronouns are known as preposition.

जो शब्द संज्ञा या सर्वनाम के बीच संबंध बताते हैं, ऐसे शब्दों को प्रिपोजिशन कहते हैं |

✓ As. In, On, Under, At, etc.

7. Conjunction - समुच्चयबोधक अव्यय

The words which joint two words or sentences are known as conjunction.

दो शब्दों या वाक्यों को जोड़ने वाले शब्दों को व्याकरण में कंजंक्शन कहते हैं |

 ✓ As. And, But, Or, So etc.

8. Interjection - विस्मयादिबोधक अव्यय

Interjections are the words that shows or expresses a sudden feeling and reaction is called interjection.

किसी भावना को बताने वाले शब्दों को इंटरजेक्शन कहते हैं |

✓ As. Alas ! , Bravo ! , Hurrah ! etc.
