यहाँ कवि तेंदुए के विषय में बताता है | यदि आगे टहलते हुए किसी को एक ऐसा जानवर दिखाई दे जिसकी खाल धब्बों से ढकी हो और वह तेजी से छलांग लगाये तो वह जानवर अवश्य ही एक तेंदुआ होगा | दर्द से चीखने से कोई लाभ नहीं होगा क्योंकि तेंदुआ बार-बार उछलता ही रहेगा |

जिस व्यक्ति को जानवरों के विषय में अधिक ज्ञात नहीं है, वह उन्हें पहचानने में गलती कर सकता है | लेकिन ऐसा व्यक्ति भी लकड़बग्घे और मगरमच्छ की पहचान तथा उनमें अन्तर सरलता से कर सकता है | ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि लकड़बग्घे हमेशा प्रसन्नतापूर्वक मुस्कुराते हुए दिखाई देते हैं और मगरमच्छ हमेशा आँसू बहते हुए दिखाई देते हैं|

In this poem, miss wells tries to point out different ways in which we can identify wild animals. Here in this poem, she describes the wildlife in a lively manner she tells us that if we go to Asia, we must be aware of the different animals and their ways of attacking which we should know off.

In this poem the poet is describing the various wild animals in a very interesting and mysterious way. These animals are very dangerous, but poetess is introducing them one by one in a very funny way. First of all, she tells us about the Asian lion.

She says that if you are visiting the jungles of the est and there we she an animal that has tawny skin and may roar that we may die out of fear. The poet uses humor to differentiate between animals. The poem warns readers about the risk of getting too close to wild animals.

The poem describe the physical features of wild animals, such as their skin color and markings and the poem describes the sounds that wild animals make such as the roar of an Asian lion.

इस कविता में आगे कवि बहुत ही दिलचस्प और रहस्यमय तरीके से विभिन्न जंगली जानवरों का वर्णन कर रहा है | ये जानवर बहुत ही खतरनाक हैं, लेकिन कवयित्री एक-एक करके बड़े ही मजाकिया अंदाज में उन्हें पेश कर रहीं हैं | सबसे पहले, वह हमे एशियाई शेर के बारे में बताती हैं | वह कहती हैं कि यदि आप पूर्व के जंगलों में जा रहे हैं और वहाँ हमें एक ऐसा जानवर दिखायी दे रहा है जिसकी त्वचा टेढ़ी है और वह दहाड़ सकता है जिससे हम डर के मर सकते हैं |

इसका मतलब यह है कि हमने एक एशियाई शेर को देखा | इसके बाद, उसने बंगाल के बाघ को एक शाही जानवर के रूप में समझाया जो एक बार हमला करता है और एक आदमी को मार डालता है | वह मजाकिया अंदाज में कहती हैं कि अगर यह खूबसूरत काली धारीदार जानवर हमें मारती है और खाती है, तो हम निश्चित रूप से एक बंगाल बाघ से मिल चुके हैं | इस तरह हम यह कह सकते हैं कि यह कविता अपने आप में काफी रोमांचक और दिलचस्प है |
