👉 Zero verb sentence or without main verb sentence-बिना मुख्य क्रिया के वाक्य.

👉 Definition. (परिभाषा)

That sentence in which not any kinds of main verb is called zero verb sentence.

वह वाक्य जिसमें कोई मुख्य क्रिया न हो, Zero verb sentence or without main verb sentence कहलाता है |

👉 Recognize of sentence. ( वाक्य की पहचान)

इस प्रकार के वाक्यों के अन्त में बिना मुख्य क्रिया के (Without main verb) है, हैं, हो, हूँ etc. शब्द आते हैं |

✓ As. (!) He is in village.

            वह गाँव में है |

          (!!) I am in market now.

             मैं अभी बाजार में हूँ |

✓ Note : Zero verb sentence is divided into three parts. Present zero verb, Past zero verb and Future zero verb sentence.

👉 Part (1) Present Zero verb sentence.

That sentence in which subject Is, Am, Are + something or somewhere.

वह वाक्य जिसमें कर्ता कुछ है या कहीं है |

(1) Affirmative sentence. (सकारात्मक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Sub. + Is, Am, Are + something or somewhere. 

✓ Example.

(a) Radha is in village at this time.

        राधा इस समय गाँव में है |

(b) I am an ideal student.

        मैं एक आदर्श छात्र हूँ |

(c) They are all in play ground now.

       वे सब अभी खेल के मैदान में हैं |

👉 Note : अब यहाँ से सिर्फ दो-दो Example ही दिया जायेगा क्योंकि यदि सब में तीन-तीन उदाहरण दिया गया तो यह Post बहुत बड़ा हो जायेगा | 

 (2) Negative sentence. (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Sub. + Is, Am, Are + Not + Something or Somewhere.

✓ Example.

(a) Chanchal sir is not in coaching now.

       चंचल सर अभी कोचिंग में नहीं हैं|

(b) I am not in office at this time.

       मैं इस समय ऑफिस में नहीं हूँ |

(3) Interrogative sentence. (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Is, Am, Are + Sub. + Something or Somewhere + ?

(a) Is Modiji in America at this time ?

        क्या मोदीजी इस समय अमेरिका में हैं ?

(b) Are you in Mumbai now ?

       क्या तुम अभी मुंबई में हो ?

(4) Interrogative + Negative sentence. (प्रश्नवाचक + नकारात्मक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Is, Am, Are + Sub. + Not + Something or Somewhere + ?

(a) Am I not an ideal student ?

      क्या मैं एक आदर्श विद्यार्थी नहीं हूँ ?

(b) Is Virat not in Mumbai ?

      क्या विराट मुंबई में नहीं है ?

Note :

जो वाक्य Interrogative यानी प्रश्नवाचक होता है वो हमेशा 'क्या' से शुरू होता है और जो वाक्य 'क्या' से शुरू होता है उसमें 'क्या' की अंग्रेजी (What) नहीं लिखी जाती है बल्कि सबसे पहले H.V. यानी Helping verb का प्रयोग होता है |

What is the W.H. Family ? (W. H. Family क्या होता है ? )

The word in a sentence which raises question in the mind when read is called W.H. family.

जिस वाक्य में जिस शब्द को पढ़ने से मन में प्रश्न का भाव उठे उसे W. H. Family कहते हैं |

W.H. Family न वाक्य के पहले आता है और न वाक्य के अंत में जब भी आता है तो वाक्य के बीच में जैसे - क्या, कब, क्यों, कैसे, कहाँ, क्या-क्या, किस समय, कितना, कहाँ से इत्यादि.... इसे दूसरे शब्दों में प्रश्नसूचक शब्द भी कहा जाता है |

* (Rule - 1) W.H.F. Is, Am, Are + Sub. + Something or somewhere + ?

(a) Where are you at this time ?

           तुम इस समय कहाँ हो ?

(b) Why is he not happy now ?

           वह अभी खुश क्यों नहीं है ?

(!)  Is not            isn't      इजन्ट

(!!) Are not        aren't    आन्ट

                      वह कल खुश था |

            (b) I was so sad yesterday.

                       मैं कल बहुत दुःखी था |

(1) Affirmative sentence. (सकारात्मक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Sub. + Was, were + Something or Somewhere.

(a) Sachin was in foreign yesterday.

            सचिन कल विदेश में  था |

(b) They were all in Delhi yesterday.

            वे सब कल दिल्ली में थे |

(2) Negative sentence. (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Sub. + Was not, were not + Something or Somewhere.

✓ Example.

(a) He was not happy yesterday.

         वह कल खुश नहीं था |

(b) Rohit was not in Meerut yesterday.

          रोहित कल मेरठ में नहीं था |

(3) Interrogative sentence. (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Was, Were + Sub. + Something or Somewhere + ?

(a) Was she alone at home yesterday ?

         क्या वह कल घर पे अकेली थी ?

(b) Were you at airport yesterday ? 

         क्या तुम कल एयरपोर्ट पे थे ?

(4) Interrogative + Negative sentence. (प्रश्नवाचक + नकारात्मक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Was, Were + Sub. + Not + Something or Somewhere + ?

(a) Were you not in school yesterday ?

           क्या तुम कल स्कूल में नहीं थे ?

(b) Was I not in office Yesterday ?

            क्या मैं कल ऑफिस में नहीं था ? 

👉 Use of W.H. Family in past zero verb sentence.

* (Rule - 1) W.H.F. + Was, Were + Sub. + Something or Somewhere + ?

             तुम कल कहाँ थे ?

(b) Why was she there yesterday ?

            वह कल वहाँ क्यों थी ?

👉 Use of contraction (Short form)

(!) Was not       wasn't     वाजन्ट.

(!!) Were not   weren't     वन्ट 

👉 Note : इस Tense यानी Past zero verb sentence में  I के साथ Were का प्रयोग नहीं होता है |

इस प्रकार के वाक्यों के अन्त में बिना मुख्य क्रिया के (Without main verb) होगा, होंगे, होगी, हूँगा etc. शब्द आते हैं |

✓ As. (a) She will be an officer in future.

                   वह भविष्य में एक अधिकारी होगी |

           (b) We shall be in Delhi tomorrow.

                     हम कल दिल्ली में होंगे |               

(1) Affirmative sentence. (सकारात्मक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Sub. + Will be, Shall be + Something or Somewhere.

✓ Example.

(a) She will be in Delhi tomorrow.

          वह कल दिल्ली में होगी |

(b) We shall be in office tomorrow.

          हम कल ऑफिस में होगे |

(2) Negative sentence. (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

* (Rule.) Sub. + Will not be, Shall not be + Something or Somewhere.

✓ Example.

(a) She will not be happy at this time.

           वह इस समय खुश नहीं होगी |

(b) We shall not be at home tomorrow.

           हम कल घर पे नहीं होंगे |
