👉 Question (1) How did Max die ?

मैक्स कैसे मर गया ?

✍️ Answer. When Ausable convinced Max about the balcony. And thus, when someone knocked at the door. Max fearing it to be the police, jumped out of the window and died.

👉 Question (2) How Max managed to come inside the room and why ? 

मैक्स कमरे के अंदर कैसे आया और क्यों ? 

✍️ Answer. Max had come into the room using a passkey. He had come to get the secret report about some new missiles which, he was sure, was with Ausable.

✍️ Answer. Fowler was a young and romantic writer. He had come to see Ausable know about the life of a secret agent. He was not able to achieve his target as Ausable was a boring man.

✍️ Answer. To see Max in his room Ausable remained cool and silent. He was not afraid of Max. He seemed to be angry with the management of the hotel regarding the balcony below the window of his room.

✍️ Answer. Max was a secret agent and a rival and enemy of Ausable. He was slender, a little less than tall. He was not so smart. He was out-witted by Ausable and made to jump out of the window.

👉Question (1) Initially Fowler was disappointed with Ausable but in the end his perception was changed. Justify the statement with valid reasons.

✍️ Answer. All the beginning of the story. Fowler felt disappointed with Ausable because he did not at all look like a secret agent of his imagination. He found him quite boring. He found that Ausable was not at all perturbed. 

When Ausable made such type of circumstances with his intelligence and presence of mind by which made Max jumped out of the window. So, towards the end of the story, he was not disappointed with Ausable.

Ausable was a very intelligent person. Ausable presence of mind was so sharp. He remained cool in difficult situations. He cooked up a story about the balcony. So he was an interesting person.

👉 Question (3) Max was not as good as Ausable, being an agent. Explain.

एक एजेंट के तौर पर मैक्स ऑसबल के बराबर अच्छा नहीं था | विस्तार से समझाए |

✍️ Answer. Though Max was very cunning, he was indeed no match a Ausable. He was easily misled by Ausable into believing that there was a balcony attached to the room. Ausable was able to get rid of Max with very little efforts. So we can say that Max was "a little spy" before Ausable.

Ausable was a secret agent. He faces danger in his work. So, Fowler wanted to meet him for some adventurous stories. But when he met Ausable in a French hotel, Fowler felt disappointed. So, we can say that appearances can be deceptive.
