कथावाचक की न्यू मुलियन की पहली यात्रा को विस्तार से बताइए | 

✍️ Answer. The narrator was a young lawyer and he was working as a junior assistant clerk in a magnificent law firm. One day he was sent to a town called new Mullions to serve summons on a man called Lutkins. He was needed as a witness in a case at that time.

When he reached there, he was greatly disappointed with this place. But there he met a hack driver who helped him to find Lutkins. His first visit was a successful one but the next day once again he came there with his companion, he found Lutkins and came to know how he was befooled by the simple hack driver.

👉 Question (2) Give a character sketch of Lutkins or the hack driver.

लुटकिंस अथवा गाड़ीवान का चरित्र-चित्रण विस्तार से कीजिए |

✍️ Answer. Lutkins alias Bill Magnuson was the hack driver who lived in a small town named new Mullion. He was about forty, red faced, cheerful and thick about the middle. His clothes were dirty and well worm but he had a friendly manner in that moment.

He was keen to help the lawyer and took him in his carriage. He kept on talking to him. The lawyer was pleased with his nature but the next day he came to know the reality of the hack driver and he came to know how he was befooled by him.

✍️ Answer. The hack driver was form a small town. But he was very smart. Very beautifully, he played his part and befooled the lawyer. He was posing as if he was helping the lawyer but in reality he was making him fool.

Everyone was aware of his plan except the lawyer. His mother was also included in the plan. Still he was a lovable character.
