✍️ Answer. Mr. Petronski's letter said that Wanda would not come to school anymore because they were moving to the big city. He also said that in the big city, none would ask them why they had funny names because there were plenty of funny names in the city.

✍️  Answer. Peggy and Maddie were close friends. Peggy was the most popular girl in the class. She was pretty, had pretty dresses and could draw better than other girls. She was not really cruel but rather insensitive in teasing.

Maddie was a poor girl who could not speak up against her friends, Peggy. She wore handed down old dresses given by Peggy. In the end, she decided to speak up against injustice even if it meant losing Peggy's friendship.

👉 Question (2) How did Maddie feel when she and Peggy could not find Wanda ? What important conclusion did Maddie reach then ?

✍️ Answer. When Peggy and Maddie were not able to find Wanda, Maddie was not happy about this. She continuously thought about Wanda's well being. She decided that from that day on words. She would never make anyone feel such low and bad about themselves.

She decided that she will not make fun of anyone's appearances or strange names or their way of living. She also made the decision that in doing so if she would have to lose the friendship with Peggy she would do that.

✍️ Answer. Wanda Petronski is a polish girl who has shifted to America with her parents and younger brother. She is very kind and simple hearted who never behaves badly with anyone. She feels disturbed when Peggy teases her.

She is very talented and has good hand at drawing. She also wins the drawing contest and shows her creative role. She is forgiving and generous as she forgives Peggy and Maddie by giving them two of her drawing in which she draws their faces.

कहानी के अंत में वेंडा ने अपनी कक्षा के सहयोगियों का दिल कैसे जीता ?

✍️ Answer. During Christmas time, the teacher, Miss Mason received a letter from Wanda. In that, she enquired how everyone in room 13 is and also says that although her new School is nice. She misses them all. She sends two drawing of dresses and asks the teacher to give the drawing with the blue dress.

They were mortified with the way they behaved towards Wanda and were happy that despite their ill behaviour Wanda did not take it to heart and still liked them. This is how Wanda won the hearts of her classmates at the end.
