पैगी और मैडी के प्रति वेंडा की क्या प्रतिक्रिया थी ? 

✍️ Answer. When Peggy and Maddie made fun of Wanda, she did not speak to them and remained serious. As she had no American friend she walked alone with dull eyes and hitched her shoulders in a funny way.

✍️ Answer. In the boys cetegory, Jack Beggles won who drew a motor boat and Wanda Petronski who drew hundred different dresses won the girls medal in the drawing competition.

✍️ Answer. Everyone clapped after having a look of Wanda's Drawing. Even the boys who were not interested in drawing applauded and whistled at the Taw-dropping sketches that Wanda had made of the hundred dresses she claimed to have.

✍️ Answer. Wanda did not have actual dresses. She had only the drawing of a hundred dresses on papers. All had different designs and colours. She had lived up in her closet and proved herself right by submitting a hundred drawings of dresses in the drawing and painting competition of her school.

👉 Question (2) Was Peggy really cruel ? Why did she mkae fun of Wanda Petronski by asking questions about her dresses and shoes ?

✍️ Answer. No, Peggy was not really cruel. She protected small children from bullies she cried for hours if she saw an animals mistreated. But in Wanda's case, she thought differently. She thought that Wanda was telling a lie about her hundred dresses at that time.

She had always seen Wanda wearing a faded blue dress. Also she did not like the peace. Boggings hieghts where Wanda lived. She also found the polish name Wanda Petronski rather difficult and funny.

She announced that Wanda Petronski was the winner of girls medal.

✍️ Answer. Wanda was a quiet girl who rarely laughed out loud. She did not have any friend and always come to school and went home alone, children made fun of her because she had a funny name, also because she come to school wearing the same faded blue dress.

Although she did not have the actual dresses she had the drawing of the dress on papers. All of different colours and designs. People who judge others with their socio-economic background need to learn that such things are not the parameters to judge as person's capabilities.

✍️ Answer. Wanda petronski was as polish girl. Her family had immigrated to America . She studied in a school with other American students she belonged to a very poor family. Daily she came to school in a faded blue dress. It was clean but not properly ironed.

There was a corner where the rough boys, who did not make good marks, sat. Wanda did not sit there because she was rough and noisy. She was a reserved girl and did not speak much in the class. No one had ever heard her laugh.
