✍️ Answer. The cat was rescued by the author when she was a kitten. The cat somehow knew that the author was the one responsible for giving her 'the good life'.

✍️ Answer. When, the next day, the author reached the school , he was wearing the same dress he had worn to church that morning. He wore borrowed tennis shoes as his shoes had been burnt.
