✍️ Answer. When he was in second grade, he collected all twenty five species of butterflies found around his hometown.

👉 Question (1) Discuss the role of Ebright's mother in making him a scientist in detail. 

विस्तार से बताइए कि एब्राइट को वैज्ञानिक बनाने में उसकी माँ का क्या योगदान था ? 

✍️ Answer. Ebright's mother played a significant role in his life. She used to spend a quality time with her son. She used to take keen interest in him and took him on trips, brought him telescopes, microscopes, cameras and other equipments.

She was his only companion. She presented him a children's book called. 'The travels of Monarch X' and generated interest in him towards science.

✍️ Answer. Richard Ebright was a young scientist. At the age of 22, he earned name and fame. He worked on butterflies and generated the theory of DNA which is widely used now. He was a very hard working and brilliant scientist. 

In the beginning, he faced many failures but he did not give up. He was not only a scientist but a champion debator, a public speaker too.

👉 Question (3) How did Ebright discover an unknown insect hormone ?

एब्राइट ने कैसे एक अज्ञात कीट हार्मोन की खोज की ?

✍️ Answer. When Richard was in high school, he experimented on the monarch pupa. In his senior year, he grew cells from a monarch's wing in a culture and showed that the cells would divide and develop into normal butterfly.

Wings scales only if they were fed the hormone from the gold spots. He did more work on the hormone from the gold spots and was able to identify the hormone's chemical structure.

They keep on trying and ultimately lead to success. Just as Richard did. When he lost the competitions, he did not give up. But he learnt the things and finally became successful.
