रामलाल के परिवार के बारे में बताइए |

✍️ Answer. In Ramlal's family there were seven children three sons and four daughters Bholi was the youngest one.

सुलेखा भोली कैसे बनी ? उसके पीछे क्या कारण था ?

✍️ Answer. When she was two years old, Bholi had an attack of smallpox and when she was ten months old, she fell from cot and injured some part of her brain and became a backward child.

✍️ Answer. The bridegroom came with a big party of friends and relatives. Secondly a brass band was also playing. This shows that it was a grand wedding.

✍️ Answer. Bholi told her father that she would look after them in their old age. But refused to marry a greedy man.

✍️ Answer. In the beginning she was very afraid but after some time later when her teacher spoke to her kindly she liked it.

✍️ Answer. Sulekha had sustained head injury. She was a slow learner child. No one used to talk to her. As a result, she started stammering.

👉 Question (1) Who was Bishamber ? Why did Bholi's parents accept his marriage proposal ? 

बिशंभर कौन था ? भोली के माता-पिता ने उसकी शादी का प्रस्ताव स्वीकार क्यों किया ? 

✍️ Answer. Bishamber was a well to do grocer from the neighbouring village. He was a widower and was of 45 years of age. He had grown up children from his first wife. Moreover he used to limp also. He was a greedy man.

When he saw the pockmarks on Bholi's face, he refused to marry her. He demanded five thousand rupees as dowry. Bholi's parents knew that she was ugly and stammered a lot. So no one would marry her. That's why they accepted his proposal.

✍️ Answer. Bholi's real name was Sulekha. When she was ten months old, she fell down from cot and sustained head injury. She became a slow learner. At the age of two years, she got smallpox and became ugly. None liked her in the family to completely.

She was a neglected child. But when she was taken to school, a change came. When she was grown up girl, she refused to marry Bishamber because of his greed. She decided to take up the responsibility of her parents in their old age. Thus, Sulekha set an example.

👉 Question (3) Describe the role of Bholi's teacher in her life ?

भोली की शिक्षिका का उसके जीवन में क्या योगदान था ?

✍️ Answer. Bholi's teacher played a significant role in her life. She was a kind hearted lady and she understood her problems very well. She spoke to her very kindly and lovingly on her first day.

She infused confidence in her. It was because of her she left her stammering habit and became self confident in the end of the story.

✍️ Answer. Ramlal was Bholi's father. He was the numberdar of his village. He liked Bholi but he was helpless. He was always worried about her. He took her to village school. 

It was because of Ramlal that Bholi hot educated. He had to accept Bishambar's offer. In the end Bholi's decision surprised everyone and he felt pride of her daughter.
