✍️ Answer. It was 10.30 p.m. when the author and Tsetan reached a guest house in Darchen. The author was tired and hungry. The drive was dusty in Hor had started his cold again. The herbal tea did not help him. One of his nostrils was blocked again.

But as soon as he lay down again, his sinuses filled up and his chest was heavy. He supported himself upright against the wall. He could not sleep at all. A little voice inside him kept saying that if he sleeps, he might never wake up again. So, he stayed awake all night.

✍️ Answer. The building of the medical College looked like a monastery. The consulting room was dark and cold. It lacked the paraphemalia of a doctor. The doctor himself appeared like any other Tibetan in a thick pullover and a wooly hat and other things.

The author took it with hot water. The lunchtime and bedtime packages contained small spherical brown small pills. They looked like sheep dung, but the author took them. He found the medicine quite effective. After his first full days course, he slept soundly at night.

✍️ Silk road summary is about the author's journey which start from slopes of Ravu to Mt. Kailash. This was to complete the kora. Thus, it gives us an account of the journey they experience. Moreover, the main aim of the journey was religious mostly. We see that the author wishes to complete the journey to Mt. Kailash.

Thus, in order to embark on this pilgrimage journey, he chooses a tough one. Further, the author hires Tsetan and takes along Deniel as an acquaintance to chaperon him to Darchen. Finally, they reach a small town 'Hor' in late afternoon. The author took a break sipping on tea. During the time Tsetan got the car fixed and Deniel left for Lhasa.
