अब्दुल कलाम के माता-पिता कौन थे ?

✍️ Answer. Jainulabdeen was Abdul kalam's father and Ashiamma was his mother.

👉 Question (2) What did kalam's father not possess, and what did he possess ? 

कलाम के पिता के पास क्या नहीं था, और उनके पास क्या था ?

✍️ Answer. Kalam's father did not possess much formal education or much wealth. But he possessed great innate wisdom and a true generosity of spirit.

✍️ Answer. The second world war broke out in 1939. He was eight years old then.

अचानक इमली के बीजों की माँग बढ़ गई | तब उन्होंने क्या किया ?

✍️ Answer. The boy collected the tamarind seeds and sold them to a provision shop on Mosque street, and earned one Anna a day.

👉 Question (1) Describe Abdul Kalam's early life in your own words.

अब्दुल कलाम का प्रारंभिक जीवन अपने स्वयं के शब्दों में वर्णन करें |

✍️ Answer. Kalam was born into a middle-class Tamil family in the island town of Rameswaram. Jainulabdeen and Ashiamma were his parents. Kalam, a short boy with rather undistinguished looks, was one of many siblings. He learnt many good things, from his parents. In his childhood he sold tamarind seeds and even helped in catching bundles of newspapers and earned money.

He had three friends- Ramanadha shastry, Arvindan and Shivprakashan. All these boys were from orthodox Brahmin families and he was Muslim, yet there was no discrimination between them the basis of caste and religion.

जब नए अध्यापक रामेश्वरम एलिमेंट्री सकूल में आए, तो क्या हुआ ? समस्या कैसे हल हुई ?

✍️ Answer. When Kalam was in the fifth standard, a new teacher came to his class. Kalam, a Muslim, used to sat next to Ramanadha shastry, a brahmin. The new teacher ordered Kalam to go and sit on the back bench. 

When Lakshmana shastry came to know of the incident, he chided the teacher for spreading the poison of social inequality and communal intolerance in the minds of innocent children. He askes him to apologise. The teacher realised his mistake, and the problem was solved.

✍️ Answer. Shivsubramania Iyer, a Brahmin, was Kalam's science teacher. One day he invited Kalam for a meal. But his wife could not let a Muslim enter her ritually pure kitchen. She refused to serve him in her kitchen. 

Then Iyer himself served him with his own hands, and asked him to come again the next week. When he visited his house again, Iyer's wife herself took him inside her kitchen and served him food with her own hands.

👉 Question (4) What did Kalam's family during the annual Shri Sita Ram kalyanam ceremony do ? 

कलाम का परिवार वार्षिक श्री सीता राम कल्याणम अवसर पर क्या करता था ?

✍️Answer. There used to be ceremonissed Shri Sita Ram kalyanam ceremony every year. During this annual Shri Sita Ram kalyanam, Kalam's family arranged boats with a special platform for carrying idols of Lord from the temple to the marriage site.

The site was situated in the middle of the pond called Rama Tirtha which was near their house. The family took part in this funtion with great rejoicing.
